She gave birth to me in the middle of the genocide and killing. I do not know what childhood means. I do not know what a small child means. All I know is scary sounds, heavy bombing, terrifying things. All I know is my brother Amer crying with every terrifying sound. Please save my childhood and my siblings from this life. I do not want much from you. I want safety, me and my family.
